Reese Witherspoon looked radiant as she visited her lawyer’s office in Nashville on Friday amid her divorce from Jim Toth.
Witherspoon, 47, appeared to be in good spirits as she visited the office of her lawyer, Marlene Eskind Moses.
She was photographed chatting with two women while sitting parked in her car outside of Gullett Sanford Robinson & Martin PLLC.
The “Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde” star was also spotted flashing a toothy smile as she popped out with mom Betty, 74, and her 50-year-old brother John that same day.
Witherspoon was apparently on her way to grab some lunch with her family members.
The Hello Sunshine founder gave off an Elle Woods aesthetic in a bright pink sweater, white pants and brown high-heeled wedges.
She accessorized the look with cat-eye sunglasses and carried a Valentino crossbody bag.
Witherspoon’s legal excursion comes just days after news broke that she officially filed to divorce Toth, 52, after nearly 12 years of marriage.
The “Morning Show” actress cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their breakup in court documents obtained by TMZ on Saturday.
The filing also states that she and the talent agent both signed a prenuptial agreement in March 2011 that will provide adequate and sufficient provisions for their assets and debts.
The estranged couple who share 10-year-old son Tennesse must register for parenting classes, a mandate in Davidson County, and they will have 60 days to submit a certificate of completion to the court.
Witherspoon will also reportedly submit her prenup for approval from the judge as well as her permanent parenting plan.
The “Cruel Intentions” alum and Toth announced that they were separating in a joint Instagram statement on March 24, just days before they were due to celebrate their 12-year wedding anniversary.
