Legal documents obtained by TMZ claim that Sidney Royel Selby III, better known as the musician Desiigner, is being charged with indecent exposure for allegedly ma$turbating in front of flight attendants mid-flight last weekend while en route from Tokyo to Minneapolis.
The paperwork reportedly alleges that the 25-year-old had his penis out and began touch!ng himself in his seat while seated in first class on a Delta flight. Despite flight attendants telling him to stop “multiple times,” he is said to have exposed himself three times to other passengers.
According to the criminal complaint filed on Monday in Minnesota, a federal agent who questioned Desiigner and others on the flight alleges that the rapper exposed himself to passengers and described one flight attendant as “a real great beautiful lady.”
It is also claimed that Desiigner showed remorse to his security guard and apologized to the staff once the plane landed in Minneapolis.
In a statement posted on his Instagram last Thursday, Desiigner explained that he was on medication from a previous hospital visit when he exposed himself on the flight.
He also revealed that he had been struggling with his mental health for the “past few months.” The star plans to admit himself to a facility for treatment and will be canceling all shows and obligations until further notice.
If found guilty of the misdemeanor charge, Desiigner could face jail time, as indecent exposure on an aircraft is punishable by imprisonment for a maximum of 90 days and a fine of “not more than $500 (£400).”
