Prophet Nicholas Osei, popularly known as Prophet Kumchacha, a Ghanaian clergyman, has provided an explanation for the slogan of his political party, the Kum People’s Party (KPP).
He revealed that the reason behind his slogan, “Spiritual Leadership,” is rooted in the belief that having a spiritual person in a leadership position can greatly benefit a country in various ways.
According to the Founder and Leader of Heavens Gate Ministries, electing a spiritual leader can contribute to the development of the nation as it allows for divine communication and guidance.
“When a country faces uncertainties, having a spiritual leader enables God to communicate and provide guidance to guide the leader accordingly,” he explained during an interview with Amansan Krakye on Property FM in Cape Coast.
Prophet Kumchacha further emphasized that while governance primarily entails planning, there are significant advantages to having a leader who maintains a strong spiritual connection and receives constant guidance from God. This, in turn, fosters the development and progress of the nation.
