Prophet Kumchacha, the founder and leader of Heaven’s Gate Ministries, has highlighted the significance of electing righteous leaders.
According to him, the Bible affirms that the presence of a righteous person in a leadership position brings happiness to the people under their authority. Conversely, when sinners and wicked individuals assume leadership roles, it grieves God and detrimentally impacts the nation.
During an interview with Amansan Krakye on Property FM in Cape Coast, Prophet Kumchacha expressed that it is not sinful for pastors to participate in partisan politics. He argued that the involvement of men of God in politics can bring blessings to the country.
He further explained that if religious leaders refrain from engaging in politics, it would create room for wicked people, occultists, and ungodly individuals to take leadership positions. This, in turn, could result in the formulation of laws that adversely affect God’s people, which should be prevented.
In essence, Prophet Kumchacha emphasized the importance of righteous leaders and their positive impact on society.
