Sophia Grace Brownlee’s first child will be a boy.
The 19-year-old — best known for her childhood appearances on the “Ellen DeGeneres Show” — announced the news on her YouTube channel on Saturday.
In the video she announces she’s doing a reveal for her followers and not an actual party since her family and friends already know the sex of the baby.
Brownlee explained that she’d procured a buttercream cake, a “classic gender-reveal balloon” filled with colored confetti — plus a confetti cannon for kicks.
“To be honest, I’ve always wanted to do one of these,” she confessed of the confetti-projectile.
Brownlee — who is five months along — then shows a brief montage slicing into the cake, popping the balloon and deploying the cannon — exposing blue icing, blue confetti and even more blue confetti.
“So as you can see from the last few bits, I am having a boy!” she gushed. “When I first found out … I honestly wasn’t shocked because I just felt like from the start like I was going to be a boy-mom.”
The former child star unleashed blue confetti from both a balloon and a confetti cannon.
She added that, “all of my close family and friends already know what the gender is.”
Of their reactions, she added that her boyfriend, whose identity is not-yet publicly known, “was so happy about it because I feel like most men do want a boy as their first baby.”
She also mentioned that the sex came as a pleasant surprise for many relatives as “we literally have so many girls in our family and we barely have any boys,” adding that her dad was “super happy.”
Sophia Grace first announced she was expecting a baby on Oct. 22.
“I’m sure a lot of you are going to be very shocked because it probably was quite unexpected,” she said at the time.
Brownlee admitted that when she found out she “couldn’t face” her dad and convinced her mom to break the news to him.
