Playboi Carti’s long-awaited return to music appears to be on the road. The rapper, who has been teasing his forthcoming effort, rumored to be titled “Music,” returns to social media.
The Georgia rapper initially hinted at new songs on Instagram, when he posted a play button over an equalizer graphic on his account. He then uploaded an artwork to his account, presumably for an album or a single.

Carti’s last album, “Whole Lotta Red,” was published three years ago on December 25, 2020. Kanye West, Kid Cudi, and Future all made appearances on the album. It won him his first Billboard 200 #1 debut, as the album sold 100,000 album-equivalent units.
Playboi Carti will also headline Rolling Loud California 2023 in March, so new music or projects from the rapper are possible in the coming months.
