The National Theater of Ghana (Folks Place), experienced a fresh breath of young talents’ creativity as Philip NeeWhang surged the platform and performed his much-celebrated track “Orente”.
The auditorium was packed with over 300 people on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, thanks to the Blue Kiosk, a show put together by Agape Arts Productions and directed by Afizie Jerry Francis.
Check out the stage performance by the play’s performers, as well as the enthusiastic response from the crowd. This is the first time Philip NeeWhang has performed the song “Orente” with a live audience.
Orente is a Yoruba word that means pretty lady and the song was originally performed by Dany Starking.
