In a recent interview with Graphic Showbiz, Ghanaian musician Ofori Amponsah shared his thoughts on love, revealing his disbelief in true love and fear of being hurt by those who profess their love too quickly. Despite personalizing love themes in most of his songs, he finds it difficult to propose to a woman because he dreads the thought of being disappointed.
Ofori Amponsah explained that people who quickly profess their love to you are always in a position to hurt you. He stated that he is very careful around people who show him love and that most people who claim they love you rather hurt you. He cited the case of the Police Inspector who killed his lover, saying that if you claim you love someone, the last thing you should think about is to hurt the person.
The former protege of Daddy Lumba went on to say that he fears for his life when a woman starts expressing her feelings for him. He concluded the interview by revealing that the reason for his long absence from the mainstream is that he has been occupied with so many things, but he is preparing to come back.
