Herring sings on FaceTime, but, when he raps, he often adopts the moniker Hemlock Ernst. In 2019, as Ernst, he and Kenny Segal released a joint album called Back at the House. Herring (as Hemlock Ernst) also featured on billy woods 2017 track Illegal Tints.
