Hebden formed Fridge with Adem Ilhan (aka Adem) and Sam Jeffers in 1996, weaving between punk and dance before settling on a groove-led rock style in step with the likes of Tortoise and Mogwai. After expanding the sound to incorporate jazz, folk, and hip-hop elements on Happiness in 2003, the group took a backseat as Hebden made the rounds under his Four Tet alias. Fridge reformed in 2007 for The Sun, their latest album to date.
