Marquee acts including Foo Fighters, Pixies, Spoon, and the Walkmen will play the inaugural run of shows at a tiny venue in Washington, D.C., that is being built as a replica of the original 9:30 Club, Rolling Stone reports. Named for the venue that preceded the 9:30 Club, the replica, the Atlantis, will sit next door to the current (now much bigger) venue, hosting an initial run of 44 shows in the 450-capacity space, starting with the Foos on May 30. I.M.P., which owns the 9:30 Club, made the replica venue to celebrate the 9:30 Club’s 44th anniversary; tickets for the shows will cost $44.

Others set to perform include Yo La Tengo, Jeff Tweedy, Maggie Rogers, Joan Jett, Hot Chip, Franz Ferdinand, Bartees Strange, Jenny Lewis, the Magnetic Fields, Iron & Wine, Tove Lo, Drive-By Truckers, and Gary Clark Jr. Tickets will be allocated via a lottery system, with resale barred except through a fan-to-fan face-value exchange, according to the venue.
