Christian Atsu’s body will show up in Ghana on Sunday night, as per an assertion given by the Service of International Concerns and Provincial Combination.
Atsu was found dead subsequent to being caught in rubble for almost 12 days following the Turkey seismic tremor.
The service had before reported that plans were being made to ship the late Dark Stars winger’s body to Ghana for entombment.
The most recent assertion invalidates reports that the body showed up at the air terminal on Saturday night however no authority was available.
The remaining parts will be joined by his family and Ghana’s Representative to Türkiye on a Turkish carriers flight and will show up in Accra at 7:40 p.m. today Sunday, 19 February, 2023,” the assertion said.
“The remaining parts will be gotten at the Kotoka Worldwide Air terminal by the family, the Ghana Football Affiliation (GFA), and the Public authority upon its appearance from Istanbul, Türkiye.”
