Former Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has praised Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey for his contribution to the Gunners’ incredible season.
After eight seasons in the Premier League, the former Ivory Coast captain has expressed interest in the ongoing title race between Arsenal and Manchester City, which also includes Manchester United.
I believe Thomas Partey is a key figure in Arsenal’s recent rise and have been impressed by the Black Stars midfielder’s talent.
Toure has announced he will be at all Arsenal games this weekend to watch Thomas Partey play.
Yes, it’s brilliant, it’s really nice to see.
Now I think Arsenal need to play every weekend, I have to be honest I would watch it. It’s just amazing,” Toure told talkSPORT.
The 39-year-old is now Tottenham Under-16 manager having last played for Chinese club Qingdao Huanghai in 2020.
Arsenal currently top the Premier League table with 63 points from 26 games, with Manchester City second 58 .
