Sadio Man, a former Liverpool forward, is facing a significant decision after getting into a heated altercation with his Bayern Munich teammate, Leroy San, in the away dressing room following the team’s defeat to Manchester City on Tuesday.
According to Sky Sports, San was left with a bleeding lip after the incident, which required intervention from their teammates to separate the two players. The argument had started on the pitch during the latter stages of the match, which City won 3-0.
Consequently, Bayern Munich has suspended Man, and he will be fined, as well as excluded from the squad for their upcoming Bundesliga home game against Hoffenheim on Saturday.
A statement from Bayern Munich read:”Sadio Mane, 31, will not be in the FC Bayern squad for the home game against 1899 Hoffenheim next Saturday.”
