I really love Grupo Frontera because I think they have a lot of feelings in their songs, Bad Bunny told Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1. They have the authentic sound, the essence, but with a new color, with a new sound; its fresh; its a totally different breath.
Bad Bunny showed his affinity for regional Mexican music in the past when he collaborated with Natanael Cano on Soy el Diablo (Remix). Cano, however, makes trap corridos, a more modern offshoot of msica nortea, which is the traditional style practiced by Grupo Frontera.
