Andy Dosty, the host of the morning show on Hitz FM, has raised questions regarding dancehall artist Shatta Wale’s assertion that he and other entertainment industry gatekeepers have been conspiring to undermine his success.
While acknowledging his role as an industry gatekeeper, Andy Dosty, during an appearance on the Delay Show, questioned the special status that Shatta Wale attributed to himself, suggesting that if there was indeed a plot against him, why has he not suffered failure like others.
“Why haven’t we caused his failure? Or is he bigger than anyone else? If we truly possess the power to sabotage his career, why haven’t we exercised it? This is the same person who insults DJs and presenters, right?” Andy Dosty posed as a counterargument.
In July 2022, Shatta Wale publicly called out Andy Dosty and other figures in the entertainment industry, accusing them of intentionally tarnishing his reputation and attempting to hinder his career.
He specifically mentioned individuals such as Mark Okraku Mantey, Andy Dosty, Prince Tsegah ‘Da Don,’ and Zionfelix, implying that the entire showbiz community was against him.
However, according to Andy Dosty, Shatta Wale’s allegations are merely assumptions without substantial evidence to support them.
